Exercising during pregnancy has a number of benefits to it that enhances one's health effectively. The exercise programme should contain the usual warming session along with some cardio-vascular exercises which ends with stretching. You can Exercise when Pregnant only if there are no complications involved in the pregnancy and if your doctor approves it. You may encounter certain problems while exercising due to the changes in your physicality but will eventually overcome them. Some exercises that are suggested are walking, aqua aerobics, swimming, cycling, yoga, Pilates and pregnancy specified exercise classes.

While performing any Exercise while Pregnant, there are certain things that have to be done to ensure that one is comfortable and does not succumb to any possible injury during exercising. Thus, the usual things like wearing loose fitting clothes as well as wearing trainers are essential. Also, the exercises should be done on a flat surface, ensure that you take in enough calories and not suffer from fatigue, drink plenty of water, get up slowly after completing floor exercises and never ever over-stress yourself.

Some exercises to avoid during pregnancy

Not all exercises are meant to be executed during pregnancy. Exercises that involve any kind of contact or jumping like trampoline, horse riding, skiing, basketball, etc. any kind of competition sport should be avoided as it puts extra stress, in turn risking the life of the child and increasing the chances of complications. When you are in the fourth month of pregnancy, it best to avoid exercises that insist you lay on your back and in the later period avoid any amount of jumping and stretching.

Some warnings while performing any Exercise when Pregnant

Even though these exercises are safe however, there are certain points that should be kept in mind like not to over-stress oneself. Also, don't raise the body temperature to the point of sweating and avoid exercises that you are not comfortable with. If you don't feel well or feel any pain, contact the doctor immediately and do not go for intense sessions of workouts as it will exhaust you.

Before joining any programme to Exercise while Pregnant, it is crucial that you see the doctor before and also listen to your trainer or physiotherapist before starting your routine. It is a very healthy way to deliver a baby without any complications and is also quite beneficial and helpful while giving birth.
